What are we about…

Intention Over Perfection

We believe progress matters more than polish. Every meaningful idea starts somewhere, and our role is to help shape it with care, clarity, and direction. We value thoughtful beginnings and purposeful execution over chasing trends or surface level results.

People First, Always

People are at the center of everything we do—our partners, their audiences, and the communities they serve. We lead with empathy, listen before we create, and build relationships rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration.

Purpose-Driven Creativity

Creativity is our tool, but purpose is our compass. We design and produce work that aligns with values, tells honest stories, and creates real impact beyond aesthetics or attention.

Simplicity That Moves

Like the paper boat, we believe simple ideas, when built well, can travel far. We strip away the unnecessary to create clear, focused, and meaningful work that connects and endures.

Community & Connection

We believe brands are strongest when they are connected to something bigger than themselves. We support community-driven work, celebrate collaboration, and use our platform to uplift voices and causes that matter.

Growth With Integrity

We help brands scale without losing their soul. Every decision is guided by long-term thinking, accountability, and staying true to what makes each idea unique.

Who Are We?

Brandyn and Freddy Hernandez (not blood related, but brothers by passion) officially joined forces at the Two Guns Coffee kiosk circa 2018, in El Segundo, CA. Brandyn, already deep into the indie, third wave South Bay coffee scene, connected with Freddy, a barista who truly geeks out over coffee and craft. What started as conversations over great brews quickly turned into something bigger.

Coffee became the cornerstone of our relationship, fueling ideas, storytelling, and a shared vision. From there, they began brewing brands, creative platforms, and purpose driven work that now live under The Pops Network moniker.

Together, Brandyn leads vision, strategy, and community impact, while Freddy drives creative execution and operational excellence. The result is a partnership rooted in authenticity, craft, and a belief that the best ideas, like the best coffee, are made with intention.

THE

“BRAND”YN.

Brandyn Hernandez—known to many as “B” or “The Hip Pops”—is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Pops Network, a creative ecosystem built at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and community. Under the Network sit its purpose-driven subsidiaries: The Hip Pops, Pops Production Co., and Pops Purpose Inc.—each designed to serve, inspire, and connect through meaningful work.

Beyond the titles, Brandyn is a husband of 20 years, a father of four, and a lifelong sneaker collector, roles that deeply shape his perspective and fuel his work. Family, culture, and creativity aren’t just themes in the Pops Network; they are lived experiences that inform every story, brand, and community initiative he builds.

A creator and brand architect at heart, Brandyn has spent over two decades developing platforms rooted in authenticity, intentional storytelling, and real-world impact. His work seamlessly blends entertainment, production, nonprofit initiatives, and community activism, using creativity not just to capture attention, but to spark connection and drive change beyond the screen.

Everything Brandyn creates reflects who he is: resilient, bold, and unapologetically original. Each project carries his signature “I WILL NOT LOSE” mindset, a philosophy grounded in perseverance, belief, and the power of collective effort. For Brandyn, success isn’t measured solely by reach or revenue, but by how many people are uplifted along the way.

Based in the South Bay, specifically Torrance, Brandyn and the Pops Network bridge generations through creative storytelling, brand development, and service. The mission is simple yet powerful: to bring people together through shared experiences, good energy, and the belief that all cultures, religions, races, and orientations can move in rhythm together. Presence matters. Representation matters. And when creativity leads with purpose, community always wins.
